SO SAD FOR NOW

I just tried to go into Rollyo, play around and search, and then create an account, etc. However, the site is going under "much needed renovation," or something like that. It's down for now. Don't know when it will be back up. I'll keep trying every few days or so. Just wanted you to know, I really did try to do Thing 9.

I Think I Did A Widget

The following link (widget?) works. Anyway it did when I tried it. It's for my librarything post. I think the librarything website is absolutely awesome. I'm so grateful there people who are techno smart, can come up with an idea and then actually create, successfully, their idea. I'm planning on keeping my list going. What an easy way to keep track of all your reading!

My Library Thing list

So, now how to figure out how to do a widget for my collection so I can add it. I'll keep fiddling till I figure it out. In the meantime, I love this site. I'm so excited to keep updating my list and seeing what others have and are reading. I'm amazed at the extent of technology. I'm also thankful that there are people whose brains work in techno ways and can come up with an idea and then use their smarts to create their vision.

I every one. I finally figured out how to post a second picture. This is getting to be fun. I'm feeling much more confident. I just may even continue after this class is over. I've got a lot more pictures we took from Springfield last summer. It was absolutely awesome!

WIKI, WIKI, WIKI

Hey Ya'll

I'm so excited. I actually created my very own WIKI. Actually, it's not for me personally, but for my library. Here's the info:

I was fearing it would be as confusing to me (Miss Techno Dummy,) as creating this blog, but I was actually surprised at how easy it was. My goal is to use it to actively advertise it for the next school year. My intent is to share with patrons any news pertinent to the library, a listing of new books/materials, and an opportunity for patrons to write little blurbs about favorite books. I think this would be a wonderful asset to the intent of the Sunrise Library program.
